Liturgical Calendar of the Cathedral of Toledo

The celebrations that give meaning to the spiritual life of the Primate see.

The liturgical year in the Cathedral of Toledo is marked by the solemnity of its celebrations and the strength of its traditions.

Alongside the feasts of the Roman calendar, two moments stand out as defining the city’s spiritual identity: the Corpus Christi procession — one of the oldest and most renowned in the Christian world — and the feast of the Virgin of the Sagrario, patron saint of Toledo, celebrated each year on 15 August.

Throughout the year, the Cathedral hosts solemn Masses, vigils and special celebrations, as well as the major liturgical seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. In this section you may consult dates, schedules and principal liturgical acts in order to accompany the Primate Cathedral in prayer and celebration.
